Finding childminders

carers.world helps parents find childminders.

We have a unique and secure approach that keeps childminders searchable and safe.

We asked parents and childminders what they think about the current search products. Childminders told us that they don't like names and location of their settings being available to just anyone.

Parents and carers told us that you don't want to pay a subscription to search and have the company sell your details to marketing and insurance companies (this is a big thing for us - we think it's bad business). So, we let parents advertise for childminders and it's up to them to respond.

And we never sell your data. Ever. Did we mention we're not a fan of selling data?? (because it's wrong).

Private, secure in-mail

Exchange secure email!

Change attendance times, book holiday, discuss a concern, talk to new parents about their care requirements,: in-mail is the best place to discuss your changing needs.

And it's all kept securely in one place as part of your care record - no more trying to work out what was agreed in a never-ending WhatsApp thread.

Signing and accepting

Parents sign documents all the time: contracts and waivers, attendance records, incidents... Sometimes, it's not convenient to come into your setting, maybe other parents are there and you can't discuss a child's care confidentially.

Parents can read a document and accept it when it's convenient - no hurry.

And once a document or incident is accepted, it's saved as part of their child's profile, helping carers show their commitment to maintaining accurate records and always available to parents.

When the Ofsted inspectors call, childminders don't have to rush around trying to find a child's documents - it's all there on their phone.

Children's photos

Parents love to see photos of their children, learning and enjoying their time with their carer.

Our photo gallery shares each child's pictures in one place, from toddler to school. It's an invaluable record to keep forever!

Uploading is easy: just select a child and upload a picture. We'll put it into a folder for that month and year, so even if you have older pictures on your phone, you can add them to your gallery and they'll go in the right order.

Our gallery feature adds real value to a childminders business with very little effort.

Daily diaries

It's so important it is to record a child's progress and achievements.

carers.world daily diaries helps childminders write and send individual diaries for parents.

Carers can write one diary for their setting (what the children did, what they learned, what they ate, maybe add some photos), then they select a child to add personal notes that only their parents will see.

Carers can start a diary wherever they are and add to it whenever they have time. Because it's on their phone or tablet, it's always with them.

When it's ready, carers can send the diary to all parents. It's securely saved for each child and is available until the child turns twenty-one. Parents get a notification in their in-mail.

Diaries can be an important part of a childminder's safeguarding process: they can raise issues with parents confidentially. Over time, daily diaries can reveal patterns of behaviour that might otherwise be lost.

Like any other data, your diaries are stored using the best security available.
